
王磊,教授,博士生导师。主要从事海气相互作用与气候变化、海洋气象学方面的研究工作。本科和硕士毕业于中国海洋大学,博士毕业于香港科技大学,有在美国夏威夷大学、美国加州大学欧文分校从事科学研究的经历。
主持国家自然科学基金、广东省自然科学基金、国家重点研发项目子专题等科研课题。主持广东省研究生示范课程、校级教学团队“海洋科学与大气科学学科交叉复合型人才培养教学团队”、校级研究生示范课程、校级课程思政示范课程等教学教改项目。在国内外学术期刊发表学术论文50余篇(包括以第一作者在Nature Communications、Journal of Climate、Geophysical Research Letters等期刊发表论文),出版研究专著1部,获批计算机软件著作权9项,发表教学教改论文10余篇。
以第一作者发表在Nature子刊《Nature Communications》的研究论文入选ESI地球科学全球Top1%高被引论文,单篇被引达200余次。论文研究提出了热带太平洋-大西洋相互作用可以产生太平洋准两年周期变化的新观点,并将这种热带太平洋-大西洋相互作用过程凝练归纳成大西洋“电容器”效应。
为国内外50多种专业学术期刊担任审稿人(包括Nature Communications、npj Climate and Atmospheric Science、Journal of Climate、Journal of Geophysical Research、Geophysical Research Letters、Climate Dynamics、Environmental Research Letters、Earth's Future、International Journal of Climatology、Scientific Reports、The Innovation Geoscience、Advances in Atmospheric Sciences等),累计审稿200余次,获英国物理学会出版社颁发的“IOP可信赖审稿人(IOP Trusted Reviewer)”证书。2023-2024连续两年应邀担任国际环境奖项蓝色星球奖(Blue Planet Prize)提名人,担任广东省气象学会海洋气象专业委员会委员、湛江市欧美同学会第一届理事会理事。
